The sea container has arrived safe and sound.  Now we will hope it clears Customs quickly.  Our mission team will unload the container at the end of July and get working on the day care center.  What an exciting trip ahead!

Dreams really do come true!  Soroptimist Saratoga has awarded TLC a $15,000 grant to build a living classroom (school garden), latrines, handwash station and kitchen classroom in Haiti.  This is such a gift to the people of Rantlamouaie.  Work will begin soon and we will be sure to download plenty of pictures to show our progress!

We thank the Albany Episcopal Diocese of Albany Missions Committee for a grant in the amount of $1,500.  This award helped us transport a cargo container weighing approximately 8 tons to Haiti.  The container was filled with valuable supplies and equipment for medical care, education, solar, and more!  Thank you again for you generosity.

Get your ticket to be entered into the million dollar duck race in Glens Falls.  It's so easy!  Purchase a ticket for $5, name your lucky little ducky, and stand by to see if you are the big winner!  Hey, you never know!!!!   Other prizes awarded too.  Call 518-859-4424 to purchase a ticket (or 2 or 3!)  Thank you!  TLC receives a portion of all ticket sales.

And, we've got some especially for you!  It's going fast though so get it while you can.  This maple syrup was tapped from trees in Canada and bottled in upstate New York by Duncan Watt.  Over 700 maple trees were tapped this year to make this wonderful batch of syrup.

At the end of July our team will be heading to Haiti and spending most of our time in the village of Rantlamouaie.  We are blessed to have Drs. Kane and Cole join us again.  The trip is just 8 weeks away and we need to purchase alot of medicines.  As you may recall,on the last medical mission we had to send a courier to the Dominican Republic twice inorder to restock our suplies.  This time we want to be fully prepared.  Please consider sending a donation to To Love a Child, PO Box 165, Clifton Park, NY so that medicine can be purchased.  Credit cards and paypal are also convenient ways of donating.  Thank you so much!
