The World Health Organization cites malnutrition as the gravest single threat to the world’s public health. Improving nutrition is widely regarded as the most effective form of aid.
Facts on Zimbabwe:
● 1.9 million people will need food assistance in 2010. ● 4th highest mortality rate in Africa. Child malnutrition is a significant challenge to child survival and development. ● 33% percent of children under age 5 are chronically malnourished; 7% suffer from acute malnutrition. | Facts on Haiti:
● 75% of Haiti’s population lives in poverty. Because of this, much of Haiti is severely malnourished. ● 3.8 million Haitians don’t get enough to eat (according to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization) ● 23% of all children under age 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition, putting Haiti’s future in jeopardy. |

Children at the Orphanage of Good Will and Tafara Pre-School in Zimbabwe rely on To Love a Child for food. Help us to feed these children by committing money each month for their nutrition.
The Board of Directors of To Love a Child has been personally financing this effort since April of 2009 but the need has grown so we need YOUR help!
