To Love A Child, Inc. Proudly Announces Eco-Quest
Our mission states “… we provide humanitarian assistance to impoverished children and their families throughout the world to help create a better future and quality of life for all.” A better future cannot be achieved without taking care of our planet. For 13 years, To Love a Child has successfully implemented environmental projects. We’ve installed solar panels, distributed solar lanterns, planted trees, produced gardens, built latrines, installed rainwater collection systems and provided clean drinking water. Eco-Quest will not only continue these programs but expand them. The program will also provide educational opportunities, especially for students, to better appreciate nature, wildlife, and marine life, so they can better understand the devastating impact of global warming and what we can do to help. ●Our project managers in Zimbabwe are already on board with Eco-Quest and have begun outlining plans for forestry development, nutritional gardens, solar technology, and protecting their national heritage of wildlife. ●In Haiti we will continue to plant trees and work on sustainable projects with a potential new partner, Food for the Poor. ●In New York State we are looking for a partner and a project that will give us hands-on experience and education that will inspire us to look toward the future and preserve what we enjoy now for future generations. ●And, in Alaska, an area where global warming has a most recognizable and significant impact, we have planned our first Eco-Adventure for September 2022 where we invite you to join us on a very special educational and most memorable journey through Alaska. We already have our partners lined up to give you an up close and personal experience with sea life, an eco-fishing expedition, hiking through “Ghost Forests”, meeting our “adopted” sled dog team, and so much more!
