Each week Chef David Delamater and Director Cindy Schmehl meet with kids at Cheryl's Lodge in Clifton Park. Kids cook fantastic dishes while learning the basics of culinary arts. Each student has their own butane cooking stove, tool box filled with professional cooking tools, saute pan and more! Students are encouraged to take an adventure in food to taste everything they cook to expand their palette. Team building is encouraged and we also inspire self-confidence. The sky is the limit in this delicious class!
Spring Break Mini-Camp
This is our second year creating an exciting mini-camp for kids with limited resources during Spring Break. Our focus this year is animals and animal habitat. The kids will be building birdhouses and learning how to take better care of their own pets. The highlight of the camp is a magnificent trip to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse where they will not only tour the zoo and visit the newborn twin elephants but also participate in two educational programs as well!
