Celebrating our 2022 Circle of Love Award Winners:
Infant Jesus of Prague * St. Paul's Lutheran Church * Jane Morrison * Viola Bramkamp
To Love a Child is blessed to have The Infant Jesus of Prague and Jeremiah Hayes as a trusted friend and supporter. The Infant Jesus of Prague, Inc. is a private foundation established in May of 1996 by Roger and Catherine Sullivan of Tupper Lake. When the Sullivans passed away they endowed the Foundation to make grants on an annual basis to worthy charitable and educational organizations. The Foundation currently benefits more than 20 such charitable organizations in the Tupper Lake area and a few like To Love a Child outside the area. After many years of dedication to our projects, we honor The Infant Jesus of Prague tonight for their commitment to serve and help people around the world. Thank you, Jeremiah Hayes, for all you do to keep the mission alive and well.

It’s an honor to have St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with us tonight and present them with the Circle of Love Award. For the past two years, To Love a Child has been one of the chosen organizations to benefit from a two-month long donation program by the congregation. This program is usually held during our Angel Match month of June so donations are doubled to make a larger impact. We have also been the chosen organization for the church’s Vacation Bible School which is an annual weeklong ministry for children, with leadership roles for youth through high school. Thank you, Pastor Wiegand, and everyone at St. Paul’s for your support of our projects! We are so appreciative!

We met Jane Morrison over 15 years ago when she was a licensed massage therapist and owner of A Peaceful Place Massage and Wellness Center in Clifton Park where she would host handi-craft sales to benefit our projects. Once Jane retired she began expressing herself through art which she loved since she was a child. Jane is a self-taught artist who is inspired by the beauty of the world around her and also by the photos of the children from Haiti and Zimbabwe. Their eyes captured her heart and she wanted to share these little ones with the world so she shared them through her art. Jane has held numerous art sales to benefit To Love a Child as well as Paint and Sip events. Thank you, Jane, for your generosity, creativity and friendship.

Dear Viola Bramkamp moved to Florida just a few weeks before this dinner and she is missed! She has been attending our dinner for years. For a woman in her 90’s, Viola is exceptional. She is sharp, generous and quite the storyteller. Viola was an elementary school teacher in Ithaca so many of our projects were near and dear to her heart. One of Viola’s favorite photos of her husband is in a field of sunflowers. Viola’s award was hand painted in Zimbabwe and includes sunflowers. We hope it touches her heart just as much as she has touched ours.
