Bountiful Backpack Program

To Love A Child Inc. has partnered with the Shenendehowa Bountiful Backpack Program to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, especially on weekends. This program provides backpacks filled with food that is child-friendly, shelf-stable and easily consumed. We know that if students aren't fed, the ability to learn in school doesn't happen so with your donations we can provide weekend meals and basic pantry staples for approximately 275 children. 

To Love a Child has provided fresh fruit during the 2019/2020 school year and will resume this program in the 2020/2021 school year.

Volunteers have also created inspirational notes for the backpacks.

In a partnership with Twin Bridges Rotary Club, we were able to provide
birthday bags for the children in this program.
