Our prayers and thoughts go out to the many families affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. The news coverage simply leaves us speechless. Today I will be loading up the van with many supplies that can be used by children and their families in this time of need and delivering them tomorrow. This will be our first local outreach to this disaster but certainly not our last. As the weeks go on we will address the needs of children in our area and do all that we can to ease their stress as the seasons change and prepare them for the cold Winter months ahead.
